One of the best kept secrets about The Establishment is that we offer a private chef service with in-home meal preparation and service. Want to add a sommelier to your evening? We offer that as well.

Whether this is your first time in Charleston, you visit every year, or you've lived here all of your life, you know that the Holy City delights in culinary perfection. If you've dined with us, you know that we strive to offer the best that our city has to offer, from ingredients in the kitchen to service at the table. Everything we serve will always reflect our clean, non-complex, and balanced approach, delivering a selection of thoughtful and refined dishes. And we're now bringing these ingredients directly to your door, preparing them in your kitchen, and serving them at your table.

Available Experiences:

Chef Canter and his team will create and curate a multi-course menu for you and your guests, relying heavily on discussions with you on what you want to appear on your table. These conversations will culminate in a dining experience featuring a four- to seven-course dinner, including an intimate conversation with the chef about the preparation of each course as it's being served. You may also choose to have one of our sommeliers attend to educate you about each wine or bourbon as it is being poured.

This private, in-home dinner is a great way to make memories with friends here in Charleston, South Carolina.

It's fun and relaxing to enjoy dinner this way. Don't worry about the ride downtown, parking, or babysitters. We'll be at your place two hours before dinner while you enjoy a glass of wine and put the kids to bed. Then we'll start serving an incredible meal while you enjoy time with friends and family. And then (best part) we'll clean up the kitchen and leave. You get all the upside, none of the downside of preparing a large meal for a group.

Grifalco is an excellent producer of Aglianico del Vulture. Owned by the Piccin family, who were originally wine producers in Tuscany, they decided that southern Italy, Basilicata in particular, was more promising. Notes of blackberry, black cherry, and licorice carry this well-balanced wine which drinks tremendously alongside anything from the grill.⁠
